what IS IT ALL ABOUT?
Tess has been teaching dance fitness for seven years, leading dynamic and wildly fun classes. With a background in dance, immersive theatre performance, Zumba training, and fitness qualifications, Tess brings a unique energy to her sessions. After having her second child in 2020, Tess found herself frustrated by the lack of fun and inclusive post-baby exercise options, and thus, Mumbop was born.

A few months later, Tess recognised the need for a night-time option where mums could come kid-free and experience something with a bit more intensity and serious bass. And so, Mumrave was created—featuring club and rave tunes in an exhilarating, high-energy environment.

Today, Tess is joined by three amazing instructors—Leanne, Lucy, and Eloise—with classes running across Brighton, Shoreham, Worthing, and online. They also host large, club-like events and appear at various festivals and gatherings.

The team promotes a weight-neutral, body-acceptance philosophy, encouraging women to let go of the emphasis on weight loss and instead focus on rediscovering their sense of self.
The classes feature easy-to-follow dance moves set to banging tunes (often from the '90s and '00s!), with some secret squats, plenty of sweat, and even more fun.
